Dr Mahdi Al-Taher has a strong academic background and is actively involved in
surgical research and education. He has authored and co-authored over 45 peer-
reviewed scientific publications in leading international medical journals focusing
on colorectal surgery, minimally invasive techniques and surgical innovation. His
research reflects his commitment to advancing evidence-based practice and
improving patient outcomes. In recognition of his academic contribution , Dr Mahdi
Al-Taher has been appointed Associate Professor of the United Arab Emirates
